I like the spastic tree branches in the distance. For some reason this photo reminds me of something more childish. Not something less mature in you art style, you are just as talented in this piece as any other. But more in the aspect that it was drawn with something childish in mind. I'm not sure. Maybe it has to do with it being so simple, the curls in the branches, and the tons amounts of color that you used. Its a great drawing nonetheless. I like it. It just seems different to me for some reason.... I'm keeping an eye on you Mr. Hawes ;)

yeah i agree - a bit more like something you'd find in a childrens book. they are fun to make cuz they're so simple and quick, but I don't think I'm going to do any more of these for some reason.

ooo like the new trees ...there kind of looser and less structured ..but i still miss the old ones ...this is kind of like a more playful lanscape ...

:no:i'm fueled without inspiration to an end with no begin.
I really like the rich colors and the use of light and shadow. Same comment on the tree style, but hell, I couldn't draw a tree if my life depended on it, so what do I know.

thx for the feedback man - ya these little landscape ones are more doodly expiraments really so the trees I spent a ton of less time on than usual - a friend of mine just told me she drove past somewhere and saw some just like this though! Wierd

yeah these are kinda cartoony. They were fun trees for a drawing or two, but I really agree with you in needing to return to the old kind :)
